Epson Canada Ltd. is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to provide in-market technical expertise for our Business Inkjet line of printers, support strategic sales opportunities, and drive service improvements.


What You’ll Do:


  • Product Management & Technical Sales Support (TSS):
  • Address large customer issues and integrations, including onsite visits when needed.
  • Act as an escalation point for technical inquiries, working closely with Seiko Epson Corporation (SEC).
  • Support proof-of-concept opportunities and customize firmware for strategic sales initiatives.
  • Assist partners with third-party solution integration and development (Epson Open Platform SDK knowledge preferred).
  • Provide hands-on pre-launch technical sales training on hardware and software.
  • Communicate product updates, enhancements, and quality issues to internal teams.
  • Report technical documentation errors and recommend improvements.
  • Share customer insights with SEC’s Design and Planning team to enhance product development.


Service Support:


  • Offer technical guidance for repair depot and B-stock rework.
  • Manage escalations and work with SEC to resolve repeat or quality issues.
  • Provide pre-launch hardware and software training for Contact Center staff.
  • Improve service communication and practices to enhance the customer experience.


What You Bring:


  • Strong technical expertise in business inkjet technology.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, firmware customization, and third-party solution integration.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple teams.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for customer support and training.
