Job Description

This is a 12-month contract position as a Marketing Assistant - Sales Support and Order Management. The role will be based in Mississauga with the possibility of relocation to Milton (ON) or Ottawa.

The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in project coordination within the electrical industry, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Modify orders for products that are no longer available by identifying suitable replacement products.
  • Manage the change order process and approval drawings.
  • Communicate order statuses effectively to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Track and manage reserve funds for the price difference between discontinued products and their replacements.
  • Account for reserve amounts drawn from the HCS to Power Systems marketing fund to cover the price difference for product substitutions when orders are shipped.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (spoken and written).
  • Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently based on general instructions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams), Adobe Acrobat, and experience with ERP systems.
  • Electrical education or experience is a plus.
