If you're knowledgeable in Canadian payroll (specifically Ontario), experienced in managing both union and non-union payroll, and familiar with U.S. payroll operations—this opportunity is perfect for youResponsibilities:Canadian Payroll: Oversee and process full-cycle payroll for Canadian employees, ensuring compliance with Ontario regulations.Union & Non-Union Payroll: Manage payroll for both unionized and non-unionized teams on weekly and bi-weekly schedules.U.S. Payroll: Handle payroll for U.S. employees while adhering to relevant laws and regulations.Tools & Systems: Process payroll using ADP Workforce Now and maintain accurate records.Reporting & Analysis: Use Microsoft Excel for reporting, audits, reconciliations, and data analysis to support payroll and HR workflows.Compliance: Ensure all payroll activities adhere to tax laws, payroll regulations, and collective agreements, keeping accurate employee records.Qualifications:· PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) or similar designation is required.· Minimum of 3-5 years of payroll experience in a Canadian business, particularly within Ontario.· Knowledge and experience processing payroll for both union and non-union environments.· Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software.· Proven experience with both weekly and bi-weekly pay cycles.· U.S. payroll experience is required.· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).· Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities.Perks and Benefits:· Competitive salary within the manufacturing industry.· Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and RRSP matching.· Opportunities for professional development and additional training.· Collaborative and supportive workplace culture.Join a progressive company that values precision, collaboration, and innovation.
