Responsibilities


As an Intermediate Estimator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Cost Analysis: Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to analyze costs for single-family residential construction projects.
  • Estimate Preparation: Prepare detailed estimates based on project specifications, blueprints, and material take-offs.
  • Purchase Orders: Generate and manage purchase orders for contract costs and optional items.
  • Scope of Work: Draft and revise scopes of work as needed.
  • Contract Administration: Assist with contract templates, addendums, and site instructions.
  • Customized Requests: Estimate customized requests from home buyers.


Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience: Previous experience in residential construction estimating.
  • Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for accuracy and a commitment to delivering reliable estimates.
