About the role

The Senior System Specialist is responsible to manage, maintain and support Future’s Windows servers and core services in most part virtualized on VMWare and on Azure as well as help the team with new upcoming projects. The individual will also have a functional role in mentoring other team members and share the off-hour on-call responsibilities. The candidate will work closely with different teams, the Enterprise Solution Architect, the Operations, the Project Management and the IT Security team.


What you’ll be working on

  • Manage, support and perform system updates on all Windows Servers
  • Manage and support VMWare VSphere and Azure AVS
  • Manage and support the following Microsoft Windows services:
  • File/Print/DFS
  • DHCP/DNS/Site GPOs
  • Exchange
  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft Clustering
  • IIS and supporting web services (SSL, Load balancers)
  • Manage and support Crowd strike Endpoint Protection on Windows servers
  • Monitor and optimize system performances.
  • Troubleshoot any issues related to system hardware, software and networking.
  • Participate in improving and implementing existing operational standards, processes and governance.
  • Migrate existing infrastructure services to cloud-based solutions.
  • Assist the Security team with planning, coordinating and implementing system security measures.
  • Assist the Security Operation team with resolving security related incidents.
  • Participate in developing and implementing best practice data protection policies.
  • Develop and document procedures to operationalize new systems.
  • Perform other duties as required


We’re looking for someone with

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences
  • 7+ years of experience with network and systems administration with a focus on Microsoft Windows products
  • 7+ years of experience with Active Directory in a large organization (multi-domain, multi-site)
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure VMWare Solution (AVS)
  • Experience with Powershell and Python scripting.
  • Good knowledge of Jira
  • Competence in a wide range of IT skills including data protection and information security.

Responsabilités

  • Gérer, prendre en charge et effectuer des mises à jour du système sur tous les serveurs Windows.
  • Gérer et prendre en charge VMWare Vsphere et Azure AVS.
  • Gérer et prendre en charge les services de Microsoft Windows suivants :
  • Classement/Impression/Système de fichiers distribués
  • DHCP/DNS/Objets de stratégie de groupe de site
  • Exchange
  • Active Directory
  • Mise en grappe de Microsoft
  • Internet Information Services et services Web de soutien (SSL, équilibreurs de charge)
  • Gérer et prendre en charge Crowdstrike Endpoint Protection sur les serveurs Windows.
  • Surveiller et optimiser les performances du système.
  • Résoudre tout problème lié au matériel, aux logiciels et à la mise en réseau du système.
  • Participer à l’amélioration et à la mise en œuvre de la gouvernance, des normes opérationnelles et des processus actuels.
  • Transférer les services d’infrastructure actuels vers des solutions infonuagiques.
  • Aider l’équipe Sécurité à planifier, à coordonner et à mettre en œuvre les mesures de sécurité du système.
  • Aider l’équipe Opérations de sécurité à résoudre les incidents liés à la sécurité.
  • Participer à l’élaboration et à la mise en œuvre des politiques de protection des données qui constituent les pratiques exemplaires.
  • Élaborer et consigner des procédures visant à opérationnaliser les nouveaux systèmes.
  • Accomplir d’autres tâches, au besoin.




Expérience

  • Baccalauréat en informatique.
  • Au moins 7 ans d’expérience dans l’administration de réseaux et de systèmes, en particulier Microsoft Windows.
  • Au moins 7 ans d’expérience d’Archive Directory au sein d’une grande entreprise (à domaines et établissements multiples).
  • Au moins 5 ans d’expérience de Microsoft Azure VMWare Solution (AVS).
  • Expérience des langages de programmation Powershell et Python.
  • Bonne connaissance de Jira.
  • Large éventail de compétences informatiques, notamment la capacité de protéger les données et l’information.
