All posted jobs are subject to the parameters as listed below: Posting Date: January 15, 2025Closing Date: January 19, 2025Dates of Appointment: S courses run Jan 1st - Apr 30thSalary: Sessional Instructional Assistant, effective September 1, 2025, the minimum hourly rate shall be $54.27+ 4% vacation pay MGM101H5 Introduction to Management Functions (Emergency)This course shows how the principal management disciplines provide analytical tools for understanding organizations and their management, how the disciplines inter-relate and how they underpin the activities of organizations.Must have completed and achieved a superior grade in MGM101Preference given to applicants with previous TA experience in this or equivalent course(s). Grading quizzes, tests, assignments & exams Meet with or respond to students’ inquiries during office hours Invigilate quizzes, tests & exams Update material and grades on Quercus courseware Attend weekly lecture and/or review lecture material Other duties as required MGT231H5 Business Finance I (Emergency)This course analyzes the financial investment decision-making process of individuals and firms. It provides an introduction to present-value techniques, capital budgeting decision-rules, the problem of investment under uncertainty, and portfolio theory. [24L, 12T] Must have completed and achieved a minimum grade of "A" in MGT338/ MGT231 and MGT339/MGT232 or equivalent course.Preference given to applicants with previous TA experience in this or equivalent course(s). Preference given to Graduate students having completed appropriate upper-level undergraduate finance courses.Grading quizzes, tests, assignments & exams. Meet with or respond to students inquiries during office hours. Invigilate quizzes, tests & exams. Update material and grades on Quercus courseware. Attend weekly lecture and/or review lecture material. Conduct tutorials, which may include some lecturing. Other duties as required.
