Your New RoleAs the Community Director, you’ll oversee all aspects of a 133-suite independent living community. This senior leadership position is responsible for day-to-day operations, financial performance, and resident satisfaction. You’ll manage budgets, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and housing regulations. Your role also includes fostering a positive resident experience through programs and activities, supporting leasing and marketing efforts, and maintaining high standards across maintenance, housekeeping, and administration. You’ll lead a team of five and serve as the primary point of contact for residents and their families.What You Need to Succeed3–5 years of senior leadership experience in seniors living, retirement housing, or a related field.Strong background in residential property management, including policy and procedure administration.Post-secondary education in business, human services, or a related discipline (asset).Knowledge of seniors housing operations, HR practices, and financial management.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software (Yardi Breeze preferred).Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings/weekends.Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.What You Get in ReturnThis role offers a competitive salary, benefits, and the opportunity to lead a thriving community in Leduc.
