**Job Summary**
The Director of Care is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services in our nursing home facility. This position requires a compassionate and experienced professional who can manage a team of caregivers, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintain the highest standards of care for our senior residents, including those with dementia. The Director of Care will play a key role in fostering a supportive environment that enhances the well-being and quality of life for all residents.

**Duties**
- Lead and supervise the care team, ensuring that all staff members are trained and adhere to best practices in senior care.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs, focusing on both physical and emotional well-being.
- Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate medical care and services for residents.
- Manage budgets related to care services, ensuring efficient allocation of resources while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct regular assessments of resident health and satisfaction, making adjustments to care plans as necessary.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility policies regarding assisted living and nursing home operations.

**Skills**
- Extensive experience in assisted living or nursing home settings, with a strong understanding of senior care principles.
- Background in nursing, with relevant certifications preferred.
- Proven experience in dementia care, demonstrating knowledge of specialized techniques and approaches.
- Strong supervisory experience, showcasing effective leadership abilities in managing teams.
- Excellent budgeting skills to manage resources effectively while maintaining high-quality care standards.
- Proficient in medication administration protocols and safety measures.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
- Ability to foster a compassionate environment that prioritizes resident dignity and quality of life.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $100,000.00-$123,942.47 per year
