Family Law Clerk - Litigation FocusProgressive Legal SolutionsToronto, ON (Hybrid)Progressive Legal Solutions (PLS) is hiring an intermediate Family Law Clerk to support our litigation team at our new office located at 45 Sheppard Ave East. We are close to Sheppard-Yonge subway station and offer a modern, tech driven work environment designed for growth, collaboration, and high quality client service.This role is ideal for a clerk who enjoys complex cases, court work, fast moving files, and being part of a strong and supportive team. We are known for litigation, advanced use of technology, trial preparation, and a culture of teamwork and accountability.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft Applications, Answers, Motions, Case Conference Briefs, Financial Statements, and all required supporting documentsPrepare and manage financial disclosure and deadline trackingFile materials through CaseLines, Family Submissions Online, and court portalsSupport lawyers during conferences, motions, mediations, and trial preparationCommunicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third partiesManage high conflict files with professionalism and clear communicationMaintain accurate and timely billing and time entriesOrganize files, prepare summaries, and support full litigation workflowUse LEAP, DivorceMate, and other modern legal tools to streamline workWhat We Are Looking For2 to 5 years experience as a Family Law Clerk in OntarioStrong knowledge of Family Law Rules and litigation processesExcellent drafting, communication, and client care skillsAbility to stay calm, organized, and focused under pressureStrong time management with ability to manage multiple deadlinesInterest in complex cases, trials, and high intensity filesComfortable learning and using new technologyA reliable, team oriented professional who takes ownership of their workWhat We OfferSalary range: $60,000 to $80,000 per year based on experienceHybrid work model (office and remote days)Modern office at 45 Sheppard Ave East, near subway and transitHealth, dental, and drug benefitsStrong team culture and supportive leadershipExposure to trials, high conflict matters, and advanced litigation practiceOpportunities for skill development and long term stabilityHow to ApplyIf you want to grow your career in a modern family law firm and work on meaningful litigation files, please apply with your resume and a short cover letter.
