Wowk Law PC is a small firm practicing exclusively in the area of family law and also provides parenting coordination services. We are looking for someone who has experience working for a family law lawyer(s) in Ontario, is comfortable with the Family Law Rules, familiar with the protocols and requirements of the courts with respect to electronic filing, able to assist client's with financial statements, and has the ability to do basic drafting. The successful candidate will be highly organized and and have good communication skills including experience working directly with family law clients. The role also requires the successful candidate to work with the firm bookkeeper to ensure the bookkeeper has what's required to ensure Wowk Law PC books are in order and in compliance with the Law Society's requirements. Finally, the successful candidate will be expected to docket their time, and will be responsible for billing files and following up with clients with respect to outstanding accounts.

This position is primarily remote but the successful candidate will be required to attend in-office, as required. The successful candidate must be able to work remotely in an effective manner.

The starting salary will be dependent on experience and skills and may be higher than the range noted in this posting. There will be salary reviews and increases based on performance including docketing.
