Under the supervision of the Lead Supervisor, the Shift Supervisor will manage a team and plan production activities.


Schedule: Continental Shift – 2 weeks days and 2 weeks of nights


Shifts: 12 hours


Tasks:

  • Ensuring compliance with our high quality standards
  • Ensure the management of the production team in place for the shift
  • Apply and enforce occupational health and safety rules
  • Ensure the smooth running of operations on production lines
  • Review and submit production reports
  • Inform managers of production trends
  • Report any non-compliant situations and discuss the actions to be taken
  • Ensuring sound management of discipline and labour relations
  • Provide technical support when required
  • Collaborate with quality and maintenance departments


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in personnel management
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience managing unionized staff – An asset
  • Knowledge of coil coating
  • Good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strength for teamwork
