This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with complex financial data, improving processes, and directly contributing to informed business decisions.As a key member of the Finance team, you will play an integral role in month-end reporting, budgeting, and fixed asset management, while supporting strategic initiatives and continuous improvement across the organization.What You'll Do:- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely month-end financial results.- Analyze financial statements and reports to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.- Maintain and manage fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules and capital project tracking.- Support annual budgeting and forecasting cycles by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial data for strategic decision-making.- Drive process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and implementing standardization where possible.- Assist with financial system implementations, integrations, and ad-hoc analytical projects.What We're Looking For:- Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and accuracy.- Proven experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and budgeting.- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.- CPA designation or progress toward completion is considered an asset.If you are ready to take the next step in your finance career and want to be part of a collaborative, growth-focused environment, we would love to hear from you.Accounting Analyst (Fixed Assets)- Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.- A minimum of three to five years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, fixed asset management, and accounting principles.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions.- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.- Proven ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.- Proficiency in financial tools and software, with experience in journal entries and reconciliations.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
