A respected boutique Toronto law firm with more than 90 years of operational excellence specializing in corporate and commercial law is seeking a skilled professional to join their collaborative team.This is your chance to work with a firm that values excellence, teamwork, and professional growth—all while offering a balanced work environment and competitive rewards.Your new role As a Corporate Law Clerk, you’ll play a key role in supporting lawyers and clients with corporate and commercial legal services. Your responsibilities will include:Drafting and filing corporate documents (incorporations, amendments, dissolutions, continuances, annual returns)Maintaining and updating corporate minute books and databasesPreparing resolutions, agreements, and other corporate documentation under lawyer supervisionAssisting with mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and other corporate transactionsLiaising with clients, government agencies, and regulatory bodies to facilitate filings and approvalsTracking filing deadlines to ensure compliance with statutory requirementsProviding organizational and administrative support to lawyers and clientsWhat you'll need to succeed Law Clerk diploma or equivalent education3 or more years of experience in corporate law (law firm or in-house)Strong knowledge of the Ontario Business Corporations Act and Canada Business Corporations ActExcellent drafting, proofreading, and organizational skillsProficiency with corporate databases, legal software, and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong communication and client service skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamWhat you'll get in return This firm offers more than just a job—it’s a place to build your career:Competitive salary range of $80,000–$100,000 plus a 12% annual bonusHybrid work model: 3 days in office, 2 days remoteSupportive and collaborative team environmentOpportunities for professional growth and developmentComprehensive benefits packageWhat you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career.This posting is for an existing vacancy with the organization.
