- Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures and record results, and monitor, check and calibrate auditory equipment
- Assist during assessment of patients and carry out treatment programs and develop materials for use with patients
- Follow through on treatment programs with patients
- Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products
- Apply and adjust casts, splints and bandages
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Assist chiropractor with physical examinations
- Perform general clerical duties
- Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas
- Process files and paperwork
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Take earmold impressions and fit and adjust hearing instruments
- Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history
- Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointmentsSupport for persons with disabilities
- Provides physical accessibility accommodations (for example: ramps, elevators, etc.)Support for newcomers and refugees
