Clinical Specialist, Surgery: Acute Care (Medical and Health 4) Edmonton or Calgary
The Clinical Specialist in the Acute Care Division helps develop policies, standards, and legislation to ensure safe and effective acute care operations. This role involves implementing policies, enforcing standards, and researching innovative solutions for future demands like an aging population, patient flow, and capacity and wait time challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Information, Analysis, and Advice: Support policy development with research, analysis, and presentation. Consult on legislation, policies, and standards, and participate in emergency management projects. Project Management: Develop and execute strategic project plans. Content Development: Create tailored content for policy development, including briefing notes, letters, and memos. Issues Management: Proactively manage issues to support policy development. Stakeholder Engagement: Consult with internal and external stakeholders to assist in program and policy development.
