  • Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areasEquipment
  • Small tractors (lawn/snow removal attachments)Support for newcomers and refugees
  • Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.)
  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognitionSupport for Indigenous people
  • Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations Supports for visible minorities
  • Offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities
