About the role

Are you a qualified Occupational Therapist with experience in working with children? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Specialist Occupational Therapist with experience of working with children to join our integrated Children's Therapy Services on the Isle of Man

You’ll be joining our integrated therapy team consisting of Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy and Physiotherapy. The Occupational Therapy team covers the whole island, striving to deliver the best health care to the children that we see.

In this senior role you will focus on assessing, developing and implementing occupational therapy intervention to school aged children with a range of level of needs. You will work across schools on the Island including mainstream and Specialist Provision Centres. There will also be the opportunity to work within community setting or clinics, offering a varied and interesting caseload.

In addition to clinical duties you will also be responsible for the supervision of junior Occupational Therapists. You will take a leading role in service development, implementing local or national strategies and working collaboratively with the Team Lead.
