Job Description:
Western Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive wound and skin care services throughout the Corner Brook region.
**Job Summary:**
- Provide high-quality wound and skin care services to patients in acute care, emergency, long-term care, and community settings.
- Travel throughout the designated service area to provide services, with mileage and per diems paid in accordance with the RNUNL Collective agreement.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct assessments, diagnose, and treat patients with wound and skin care issues.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
**Requirements:**
- Current registration with the Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador and a current Nurse Practitioner license.
- Completion of a Canadian Recognized wound care management program (e.g. the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course).
- A minimum of five years recent clinical experience with demonstrated competency and clinical expertise in wound care management.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and willingness to travel.
**What We Offer:**
- Competitive salary scale: $98,046.00 to $121,680.00.
- 75 hours per pay period, Monday to Friday.
