Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Student Accounting Technical Researcher to join our team. This role involves researching and analyzing recent updates in IFRS, US GAAP, ASPE policies, and Canadian tax rules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research on IFRS, US GAAP, ASPE policy changes, and Canadian tax rule updates.
  • Analyze and interpret complex accounting standards and regulations.
  • Draft detailed and engaging narrative-style summaries of technical accounting updates.
  • Collaborate with the content team to ensure accuracy and clarity of information.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and developments in accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Assist in the development of educational materials and resources for our platform.
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting at a Canadian University.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards (IFRS, US GAAP, ASPE).
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Superior written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with Canadian tax regulations.
  • Experience in technical writing or creating educational content.
  • Knowledge of accounting IFRS, US GAAP and ASPE.
  • Ability to independently research and analyze complex information.
