Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Port Technician to join our team. As a Port Technician, you will be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance and inspections on various types of equipment, including cranes, gantries, and other industrial machinery. You will work closely with our customers to identify and resolve equipment issues, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting and repair of equipment issues, using advanced diagnostic techniques and tools.
- Work closely with customers to understand their equipment needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
- Collaborate with our team of experts to share knowledge and best practices, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements, ensuring that our customers receive the latest and greatest solutions.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, preferably in a industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment, including cranes, gantries, and other industrial machinery.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
