Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Gold's Gym British Columbia. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair duties related to our buildings and fitness equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair duties related to buildings and fitness equipment
  • Perform basic mechanical and electrical work on equipment and systems
  • Perform basic drywall duties, including boarding, mudding, taping, and sanding
  • Maintain the general physical appearance of our buildings and grounds, including landscaping and snow clearing when required
  • Complete general plumbing repairs, such as leaky taps, replaced and/or repair plugged toilets, drains, etc.
  • Document any repair, maintenance, and inspection work carried out in the specified format
  • Complete all maintenance requests in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Class 5 driver's license and able to commute around Vancouver, Port Coquitlam, and Langley as needed
  • Electrical and plumbing experience is an asset
  • A provincial, vocational, or professional certificate/degree is an asset
  • Able to perform physical duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Strong work ethic, punctual, reliable, and a team player
