Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our Pharmacy Operations team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations, including patient consultation and file review.
  • Provide patient care specific to each patient's needs, based on feedback received during consultation or file review.
  • Ensure excellent patient experience by locating merchandise on the sales floor and establishing strong working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Accept prescriptions and/or refill requests from customers, doctors, or hospitals, and ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely.
  • Execute processes as per Walmart's best ways/SOPs and protect patient privacy at all times.
  • Ensure patients receive all eligible services they are entitled to, including medication reviews and injections, to meet specific patient needs.
  • Assist in executing the business action plan to achieve corporate business goals, in partnership with the Pharmacy Manager.

  • License - Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization)
