Respiratory Therapist needed to provide diagnostic, assessment, and therapeutic modalities to assist in the management of cardiorespiratory and related disorders in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic, assessment, and therapeutic modalities to assist in the management of cardiorespiratory and related disorders
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in education of patients, families, and other healthcare providers
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Respiratory Therapy program from an accredited institution
  • Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Respiratory Therapists
  • Current certification in BCLS
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Working Conditions
  • Five (5) full-time long assignments; 75 hours bi-weekly
  • Shifts include days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Compensation

$40.66 hourly

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
