Job Summary

This position will work with adjudicated youth and with other youth populations. The purpose of this psychology position is to work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide assessment, treatment and consultation services to youth and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, treatment and consultation services to youth and their families
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to develop comprehensive case management plans for high risk and high needs youth
  • Provide training to other professionals/paraprofessionals on strategies to work with adjudicated and nonadjudicated youth
  • Develop and deliver formal education programs
  • Work and communicate in a cross-cultural setting
  • Develop, evaluate and modify programming provided to clients
  • Work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team

Requirements:

  • Master of Psychology (MPsych)
  • Experience working with families, within educational and forensic settings
  • Experience with day treatment settings
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
  • Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
