Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, charter, cargo and emergency air transportation services to Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for 45 years. POSITION OVERVIEW

Provide support to the Line Maintenance Crew

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primary tasks will include towing of aircraft between main terminal and hangar as well as aircraft cabin reconfigurations;
  • Operate different ramp equipment (tug, belt loader, forklift, etc.);
  • Support the line maintenance team;
  • Perform other tasks as required by the company to maximize operational efficiency;
  • Carry out any other tasks necessary and required by the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience;
  • Must hold a class 5 (or equivalent) driver's license;
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Airport Security Clearance (RAIC);
  • Preference will be given to those holding a D airport driver's license or a D/A airport driver license and mandatorily must obtain a D driver's license within 90 days of employment.
  • Able to perform physical labour
  • Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
  • Able to work as a team, punctual and reliable

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work location - Air Inuit Technical Center - Montreal-Trudeau airport;
  • Work schedule: 4 days on/5 days off, 5 days on/4 days off;
  • Shift schedule: ;
  • Company-provided unifiorms

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

  • Work location - Air Inuit Technical Center - Montreal-Trudeau airport;
  • 37.5 hrs per week (Modified work weeks are offered to help our employees balance their work/home life)
  • Company provided work clothing.

COMPENSATION

  • Compensation and benefits are determined in accordance with corporate policy;
  • Hourly wage starting at $22.34
