As a Payroll and Human Resources Coordinator , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of payroll and HR activities within our organization.

Your hands-on approach and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining accurate financial records and fostering positive colleague relations.

This is a dual role that works across both the finance and the HR department.

It is anticipated that the role would spend 50% of the time focused on the HR job duties and 50% on the payroll responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Ideally with degree/diploma in Finance or Human Resources
  • Work experience in a similar capacity in hotel or hospitality-related industry would be preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of full Payroll and General Cashier functions, well-versed in finance and payroll software
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently with strong analytical, computer and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to details
  • Familiarity with Canadian and Ontario Employment Standards
  • Certified Payroll professional is preferred
  • Very strong oral and written communication skills
