Located in Redcliff AB, Genesis is a chemical manufacturing and distribution company providing quality commodity as well as specialty chemicals to the Canadian marketplace.

Right now, we're looking for great people for the following position: Production/Operations Worker (Full Time) Location: Medicine Hat, AB Hours of work: Night Shift: Monday-Thursday, 9:00pm-7:30am Starting wage: Negotiable will vary based on ability and/or experience Benefits: Excellent medical & dental plan included We are looking for someone who is highly efficient while also being driven, motivated and independent.

The successful candidate will take a hands-on approach in demonstrating both leadership skills and an enthusiasm to get the job done.

In addition to this actively involved approach, we are looking for someone with a proven track record implementing efficient operations which support the overall business strategy.

Working with the management team, the role will contribute to the review, development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.

In this capacity, the position will improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of this role's mission - the safe and efficient delivery of chemicals.

Responsibilities: - Packaging of chemical/detergent products.

Filling raw material containers with new stock - Label and package products to prepare for sale - Ensure effective management of records to provide control and consistency of products - Clean and maintain warehouse and equipment - Operating a forklift to pick product from warehouse inventory - Load skids onto trucks - Assist with off-loading trucks and putting away of product - Clean and maintain warehouse and equipment.

Plan maintenance requirements of location - Respond to and follow up with sales, customer service representatives, buyers and operations personnel regarding general inquiries, deliveries, inventory and shipments - Assists in design and implementation of new processes and equipment - Ensure all employees follow safety rules and procedures - Ensure necessary documents are complete, accurate and accounted for in a timely manner and as per established processes - Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Requirements: - Should possess High School graduation certificate and have good communications skills - Some level of mechanical aptitude would be an asset - Able to work well in a fast-paced environment and able to meet deadlines - Committed, strong team players are encouraged to apply - Must be able to lift up to 70lbs - Punctual, reliable to complete tasks on timely basis - Accepts responsibility and proactively resolves issues ('solution focused') - Forward thinking with ability to review/enhance existing processes and create efficiencies - Thorough, high attention to detail, strong organizational skills - Strong capability to effectively delegate tasks to ensure smooth daily operations - Effective team leadership skills, ensures that self and others work efficiently to get the job done - Excellent listening skills and interpersonal relations in dealing with both internal and external customers - Excellent communication skills - Compliance with and adherence to all Company policies and procedures (e.g.
