About the Position:

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Product Manager to work with our Lithium Solutions division. The Product Manager- Lithium will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our lithium product portfolio, driving innovation, and ensuring market competitiveness. This position is a perfect fit for a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of lithium technology, exceptional strategic acumen, and a proven track record of success in product management.

Key Responsibilities of the Product Manager would include:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the Lithium Solutions division, aligning with overall company objectives and market trends.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development of product roadmaps, defining key milestones, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Drive innovation and differentiation in our lithium product offerings, leveraging market insights and technology advancements.

Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Gather customer feedback and insights to drive product enhancements, address pain points, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing expert guidance on lithium solutions and industry best practices.

Product Management & Development:

  • Define product requirements, features, and specifications based on customer needs, market analysis, and competitive positioning.
  • Oversee product lifecycle, from ideation, launch and ongoing optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing partners to drive product innovation and ensure timely delivery of high-quality lithium solutions.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Inspire and mentor a high-performing product management team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Provide strategic direction, coaching, and professional development opportunities to empower team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and alignment across departments to drive cohesive product strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with vertical leadership to set appropriate product pricing and positioning in the various marketplaces.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers regarding lithium battery products, applications, and troubleshooting.

Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities in the lithium battery industry.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics, providing strategic insights to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Stay abreast of technological advancements and regulatory developments shaping the lithium solutions market.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Ensure that all lithium battery products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with quality control and regulatory compliance teams to address any product issues or compliance concerns.
  • Oversee and conduct regular product testing and evaluation to maintain product quality and reliability.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Science or equivalent related work experience.
  • Completion of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.
  • Technical background, with experience or education in a related engineering field.

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Product Manager or in a related position.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to prepare marketing proposals with a blend of focused research, strategy and creativity.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and results oriented.
  • Proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Corporate Communications
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
