As a Bilingual Collections Advisor, you will assist customers with inquiries and resolutions regarding billing, payment plans, and collections for a forward-thinking energy company.

This is a full-time ongoing work assignment, Monday to Friday, regular business hours, with a competitive hourly pay range between $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate and timely information and assistance.
  • Handle and resolve customer concerns regarding billing inquiries, payment plans, and collecting on overdue accounts.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, courtesy, and empathy when interacting with customers.
  • Document customer interactions, update records, and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve customer service processes and maintain service quality.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in both official languages, French and English.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software programs.
  • Customer service experience and/or call centre experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
