Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our stores and warehouse operations in Prince George, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our inventory, distribution, and transportation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management of inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
  • Supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of warehouse activities.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity in the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of warehouse activities.
  • Monitor and control costs associated with warehouse operations, including inventory management and transportation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 plus three (3) years' recent related experience, including one year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
  • Ability to supervise.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Ability to organize work.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities of settler colonialism on Indigenous Peoples and familiarity with addressing Indigenous-specific anti-racism, anti-racism, and Indigenous Cultural Safety.
