About the Role

Cultivating Customer Loyalty and Growth: Foster a positive customer service environment to enhance the overall shopping experience, increase customer retention, and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver results in critical areas such as sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team by offering coaching, training, and direction on daily priorities and essential tasks.
  • Oversee hiring processes, conduct training sessions, create schedules, lead performance evaluations, and manage disciplinary procedures as needed.
  • Maintain operational excellence by implementing strategies to ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, optimal merchandising practices, and overall store presentation.
  • Implement inventory controls to minimize shrinkage and maximize inventory compliance.
  • Manage store costs by monitoring and controlling expenses to ensure efficient cost management and profitability.
  • Promote positive interactions by interacting with others in a respectful and accepting manner, maintaining a positive attitude, and serving as a role model for organizational values.
  • Collaborate with head office departments to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Completion of a college or university degree or diploma in a business, marketing, or related field.
  • 3+ years of cumulative experience in a related environment, demonstrating leadership, operational, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience in the food service/wholesale industry (B2B) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong overall computer skills, comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite, Warehouse Management, and Point of Sales systems.
Work Environment, Compensation & Benefits

Type of Role: Full-time permanent - 44 hours (6 days)/week

Store Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am - 5:30pm, weekends reduced hours

Travel: Occasional travel to head office for management meetings/training or assistance at other A1 locations

Compensation: Salary, health & dental benefits, annual performance-based bonus
