Trade Loyalty Coordinator - Mississauga Head Office

Reporting to the Commercial Strategy and Planning Manager and working closely with the Trade Loyalty & Engagement Communications Manager, the role of the Trade Loyalty and Commercial Planning Coordinator will involve supporting all trade communication and engagement initiatives on JTI Drive within Sales & Marketing. The position is agile and strategic and responsible to support all partners including brand initiatives and ensure the best possible returns on JTI investments with a trade focus.

The incumbent must possess a strong technical and analytical background to support platform enhancement and development, along with analysis of past and planned trade engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing new functional features on JTI's trade loyalty website by generating full scope User Stories.
  • Support the coordination of the rollout of trade platform in additional trade channels along with continuously onboarding and developing trade tools.
  • Ongoing analysis of the operationalization and execution of marketing programs deployed on the platform.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of JTI DRIVE contests and programs.
  • Provide timely and effective responses to retailer inquiries related to JTI Drive Platform including program participation, rewards, and other platform-related questions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues raised by retailers, ensuring a seamless experience on the platform.
Requirements:
  • University degree and equivalent or relevant work experience.
  • 3-5 years of CPG and/or Global company with strong demonstrated commercial & trade skills as well as experience working on cross-functional projects at different levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated skills of direct and digital marketing, ideally in a highly regulated industry.
  • Experience working with various technologies such as: Google Analytics platform and its functionality, Development tools like Azure DevOps, Technical Business Knowledge, Testing Technical Business Solutions, Microsoft Office products.
  • Time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects with multiple global and local partners at the same time.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
