Prosthetics & Orthotics Technician

Join our team at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre as a Prosthetics Technician and play a vital role in helping individuals regain their independence and mobility.
As a Prosthetics Technician, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing artificial limbs and braces to provide maximum fit, function, appearance, and workmanship.
- **Key Responsibilities:**
- • Fabricate and repair artificial limbs and braces to meet individual needs
- • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- • Maintain accurate records and documentation
**Requirements:**
- • Certified professional (or registered technician) prior to becoming registered
- • No previous experience, but two (2) years of training/experience working as a Prosthetics & Orthotics Technician under supervision
- • Orthotic/Prosthetic Technician Program
**Licenses and Certifications:**
- • Registered Technician in Orthotics
- • Registered Technician in Prosthetics
**Competencies:**
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- • Organizational and time management skills
- • Basic computer skills
