Located in the heart of wine country, Spirit Ridge Resort is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest service and a seamless dining experience. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests
  • Maintaining a high standard of professional appearance and hygiene at all times
  • Assisting the Food and Beverage Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations
  • Ensuring overall restaurant cleanliness and set up
  • Overseeing servers in the restaurants and banquet area
  • Helping the manager establish and monitor side work
  • Ensuring receipt and accurate flow of communications between shifts
  • Performing duties such as Cashier, Bartender, Host when called upon
  • Following all safety and sanitation policies

**Requirements**

  • Easy conversationalist
  • Extra-sensory perception to how others are feeling
  • Tech-savvy systems expertise, with experience using a POS System in the past
  • Beer, Wine and Spirits knowledge with the ability to make recommendations an asset
  • Must have current BC "Serving it Right" or another Canadian provinces equivalent
  • An organized multi tasker who doesn't crack under pressure
  • An eagle eye for details
  • Sleuth like problem solving skills
  • Able to be on your feet all day
  • A passion for guest service and providing a great guest experience
  • A self-starter with demonstrated leadership skills to motivate, coach and train colleagues
  • Minimum two years Food and Beverage service or supervisory experience
  • Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends
