Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Class A to join our team at Horizon Health Network in the Miramichi area. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using standardized tools and the nursing process.
  • Provide case management and counseling services to patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care in accordance with NANB standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Participate in educational and therapeutic groups to support patient recovery and well-being.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick.
  • High regard for confidentiality and advocacy for patients.
  • Minimum of 1950 hours of recent and direct A/MH experience within the last 2 years.
  • Post-Secondary Certificate in Mental Health Nursing or CNA certification would be an asset.
  • Current BLS and willingness to obtain Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Concurrent Disorder Modules, Addictions 101.
  • Willingness to maintain re-certifications as required.
