Job Responsibilities
  • Commitment to EH&S and Quality objectives.
  • Routine and preventative maintenance of lab equipment and instruments.
  • Prepare test-pieces for evaluation of parts for failure investigation.
  • Cut solid samples for metallographic analysis.
  • Cold and hot mounting of solid samples.
  • Polish coated samples and perform chemical etching.
  • Prepare etching reagents and manage solutions.
  • Archive samples.
  • Perform analysis of various debris found within engines and power turbines.
  • Perform micro and macro hardness measurements.
  • Perform microscopic photography.
  • Assist the engineering team for SEM observations.
Requirements
  • Diploma of College Studies (DEC) or Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in metallurgy or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience is an asset.
  • Bilingual French and English, spoken and written.
