About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Histology Technician to join our team at Charles River Laboratories, Inc. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a critical role in preparing tissues for microscopic analysis, ensuring the smooth running of our research and the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform histology activities such as trimming, decalcification, processing, embedding, cutting, scanning, and staining
  • Prepare necessary materials requested by procedures
  • Operate necessary laboratory equipment
  • Prepare chemical reagents
  • Prepare shipment and packing of specimens
Requirements
  • Collegial Diploma in Science, Biotechnology, or any other related field
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to details
  • Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.)
  • Understanding of written English is mandatory. Bilingualism French and English is preferable.
