We are now seeking a Technical Assistant Engineer to join a multi-location team providing integrity management services to mulitple floating assets in the Gulf of Mexico. This position is based out of our St. John's, NL Office.
What will you be doing?- Support the implementation of an Integrity Risk Management Process, aligned to the client risk management process
- Input to the technical content of the inspection work packs (Checksheets) or equivalent for appropriate pressure systems or equipment
- Prepare inspection work packs (Checksheets) ensuring quality of contents and they are delivered in accordance with the plan
- Ensure effective data management within inspection database and maintenance management systems
- Maintain registers for Inspection Reports, Checksheets, Anomalies, deadleg, etc
- Support to the Integrity Engineer for the FM program – assessing priority through to raising the WO for the FM to be carried out.
- Input to the anomaly process as directed by Senior / Integrity Engineers
- Input to the management of the engineering plans including weekly updates to the Senior / Integrity Engineer
- Input to monthly KPI attainment relevant to the discipline
- Attend Client facing meetings as required
- Maintain inspection isometric and Anomaly P&ID drawings in accordance with project procedures.
- Review completed mitigation work packs (AoWs) and prepare update summary.
- Any other tasks assigned by asset senior PSIE, Integrity Engineer, Asset Integrity Lead, or Technical Manager.
- A bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Demonstrable relevant experience in energy industry or engineering technical role is preferred
- Current registration with PEGNL as EIT or P.Eng. or In Service inspection certification
- Working knowledge of integrity engineering inspection techniques, planning, and methodologies.
- Sound working knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards
- Knowledge of in-service inspection codes and standards, including API 510, API 570, API 580/1 and API 579 - Fitness for Service
