Job Description: Service Technician for Automatic Door Installation and Maintenance in Victoria Region

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in the Victoria region. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing automatic door systems, as well as other electro/mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and perform preventative maintenance on automatic door systems and other electro/mechanical equipment
  • Perform service and repair work in a profitable and proper manner
  • Record productive time versus travel time
  • Perform preventive maintenance work in accordance with service program designated for specific customers
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
  • Stay up-to-date on changes and modifications to equipment and industry standards
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and property in good condition
  • Maintain adequate parts inventory for service vehicle
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain good customer relations
  • Assist and instruct others in installation and service methods

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • AADAM Accreditation
  • Clean Driving Record and Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to work in various climates
  • Ability to work overhead
  • Ability to lift and/or carry weight up to 50-75lbs
  • Flexible work schedule

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience servicing automated doors
  • Prior experience in the Construction Field installing door frames and windows
  • Associate degree in related electrical, mechanical, or industrial field
  • Prior experience as a Glazier installing glass doors or windows and carpentry experience

Compensation:

$38 - $45 per hour
