Senior Water and Wastewater Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead Conveyance Engineer to join our team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our Conveyance Team, you will be responsible for leading and managing diverse project teams in the evaluation, design, and construction of pipelines, pump stations, and reservoirs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and facilitate planning and engineering studies for water and sewer infrastructure projects
- Manage and deliver work on water and wastewater pump stations, pipelines, and reservoir projects, including report and proposal writing, business development, client liaison, and project management
- Prepare and execute a marketing plan for the trenchless rehabilitation market in Canada
- Manage scope, budget, and schedule for a team of multi-disciplined project engineers, design engineers, and CAD Technicians in the development of preliminary and detailed designs
- Direct project team and client compliance with contract terms and monitor subcontractors' compliance with contractual commitments
- Implement industry-leading solutions and develop innovative solutions
- Take technical and management responsibility of tasks and delegate effectively to various staff
- Minimum 15+ years of technical engineering skills in water/wastewater pipelines and pump stations design
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related engineering field required, Master's degree a plus
- Professional Engineer designation in Alberta
- Previous experience managing multi-discipline project teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations and prepare written reports and documents
- Experience delivering technical and business presentations; Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, coordinate, and direct development of large projects and pursuits with complex features
