Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes. As a key member of our Dietary department, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and production sheets
  • Assist with menu planning and food ordering
  • Monitor food quality and quantity, and recommend corrective action when necessary
  • Coach and train Dietary Aides in food preparation procedures and serving activities
  • Maintain accurate records and collaborate with other departments to meet resident needs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Chef training or culinary management certificate/diploma, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proven ability to provide direction and lead others
