Manage card plastic, chip module and collateral inventories for the production and fulfillment of credit and debit card products, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of over 5,000,000 cards annually.

The Card Operations Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for managing card plastic, chip module and collateral inventories for the manufacture, personalization, production and fulfillment of credit and debit card products. The incumbent is accountable for monitoring inventory usage, card manufacturing and personalization orders, daily balancing, forecasts, projection of volumes/costs, reconciliation/tracking of vendor invoices, and daily statistics. The Card Operations Inventory Control Analyst maintains an inventory management application system and imports data from multiple sources. He/she is responsible for analyzing card usage volumes, inventory, data and statistics, and generates reporting on various inventory control aspects.

The role involves:

  • Managing card plastic, chip module and collateral inventories for the production and fulfillment of credit and debit card products
  • Monitoring inventory usage, card manufacturing and personalization orders, daily balancing, forecasts, projection of volumes/costs, reconciliation/tracking of vendor invoices, and daily statistics
  • Reconciling all Card Operations Inventory withdrawn by the Service Bureau for use in production
  • Providing daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for Card Operations volumes, forecasts, projections, actuals and inventories
  • Assisting with card issuance planning and execution of change related tasks impacting the Service Bureau
  • Coordinating the delivery of all business as usual project related change activities
  • Performing ADHOC/annual audit and validation of all card plastic inventory held at the Service Bureau
  • Completing quarterly audits of all plastics, reports, and invoices kept in the vault

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to identify unusual system/processing issues and implement resolution to avoid customer impact
  • Ability to handle incoming/escalated calls from branches and customers
