Job Title: Security Guard

Join our team as a Security Guard at Walmart Canada, where you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers, associates, and visitors.

Job Summary:

As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our store, investigating instances of financial and physical shrink, and supporting store evacuation procedures in case of an emergency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily patrols of the facility to ensure security and validate that doors and showcases are secure and functioning properly.
  • Make external arrests when necessary and investigate instances of financial and physical shrink.
  • Communicate findings to Store Leadership and support investigations as assigned, including internal theft and external organized retail crime.
  • Support store evacuation procedures in case of fire or other emergency.
  • Participate in store task team responsibilities as required.
  • Conduct thorough investigations in a timely manner and in accordance with Walmart Canada policies.
Requirements:
  • Security Guard License
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a security or law enforcement role

Compensation:

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.35, with rate of pay determined based on relevant experience.
