Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engineering analysis, design, specifications, and drawings.
  • Conduct site visits to gather information for designs.
  • Perform field surveys and inspections.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports.
  • Review and check designs and drawings created by other employees.
  • Operate computer-aided design (CAD) and drafting workstations.
  • Examine structures and provide recommendations for improving structural integrity.
  • Collaborate with designers and clients to develop safe and effective designs.
  • Work with construction contractors to ensure buildings are constructed in accordance with industry and design standards.
  • Utilize various software and programs.
  • Attend production and industry meetings.
Requirements
  • Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering.
  • P.Eng Classification.
  • At least 8 years of experience as a structural engineer.
