Tire Repair Team Member

Join Goodyear's manufacturing team and gain hands-on experience repairing tires in a dynamic and challenging environment.

As a Tire Repair Team Member, you will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning and maintaining a safe work environment
  • Abiding by standard work procedures and job safety standards
  • Operating tire manufacturing equipment and other related industrial equipment
  • Performing inspections and tests on tires, controlling nonconforming tires, repairing tires, and recording required information
  • Meeting quality expectations for all output produced
  • Performing manual tasks in varying temperatures for extended periods of time, including lifting, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights
  • Adhering to Goodyear's attendance policy
  • Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Understanding and following all instructions

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship
  • Must be able to successfully complete all post-offer, pre-employment contingencies
  • Ability to work any and/or rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, or overtime
  • Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous manufacturing and/or industrial experience
  • Previous experience as a Production Associate in a manufacturing plant
  • Additional education and/or certification in manufacturing
  • Experience adhering to industry-specific safety standards

Candidate Criteria:

  • Self-motivated and able to work with or without direct supervision
  • Hard worker who can complete tasks in a timely and safe manner
  • Adaptable and able to make changes in a changing environment
  • Team player who can assist the company in being successful
  • Commitment to working safely
