Job Title: Test Automation Programmer Analyst

Join the team at TMX, a leading global exchange, as a Test Automation Programmer Analyst. In this role, you will be part of an experienced multi-disciplinary team working with scrum methodology. Your primary responsibility will be the design, implementation, and support of the Clearing automation testing tool, with a focus on Python and C++ programming.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the architecture and design of the Clearing Automation Testing product
  • Develop and maintain the Clearing Testing product
  • Collaborate with team members to understand and challenge requirements, design, and testing cycles
  • Conduct and participate in code reviews following enterprise code standards
Requirements:
  • University degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Strong skills and experience in designing and developing automated testing solutions
  • Excellent software/system troubleshooting skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in Python programming scripting
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in C++ programming
  • Analysis and programming of distributed systems for Linux
  • Unified Modeling Language (UML)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team player
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Good analytical and effective problem solver
  • Sense of organization, focus, persistence, and ability to work according to established plans and deadlines
  • Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken) is required, as this role involves regular interaction with partners and stakeholders in both languages
