Tribal Management, a leading provider of strata and rental management services, is seeking a part-time Building Manager to join our team.
As a Building Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of a 12-unit residential apartment in Brooks, Alberta.
Responsibilities:- Administer all aspects of property management, including move-in/move-out processes, vendor management, and maintenance coordination.
- Ensure the property maintains a high standard of professionalism and cleanliness.
- Perform minor repairs, including plumbing and landscaping tasks.
- Issue purchase orders and supervise contractors.
- Prepare incident reports and deal with emergencies on a 24-hour on-call basis.
- Schedule and supervise move-in and move-out processes.
- Maintain accurate tenant files and collect rents.
- 2-3 years of experience in caretaking and/or building maintenance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
- Able to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act is an asset.
