Job Title: Building Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Superintendent to join our team at Envision Property Management Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Building Superintendent will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our tenants and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs. Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Contractor Management: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, and perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • Safety and Security: Perform safety and security checks, and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Experience and Education: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, and a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Work Environment:

The Building Superintendent will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.

  • Organized: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Language:

The primary language of work is English, with a working knowledge of French an asset.

Work Schedule:

The Building Superintendent will work 35 to 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule and occasional overtime as required.
