Job Description:
As a Mechanical Patrol Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance personnel in a steel manufacturing mill. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the availability and reliability of equipment, minimizing downtime, and promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of maintenance personnel in a steel manufacturing mill, ensuring equipment availability and reliability.
- Minimize downtime by ensuring correct diagnosis of problems and executing necessary interventions on equipment.
- Perform simple inspections on operative equipment and verify technical resource availability.
- Support Base Maintenance Supervisors in the execution of preventive tasks and failure analyses.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environment standards and practices.
- Implement preventive and corrective actions, and maintain accurate records.
- Manage and update maintenance information systems and technical documentation.
- Participate in maintenance programs to minimize/optimize energy use.
- Lead employees during assigned time periods, coordinating schedules and ensuring work safety conditions.
- Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Mechatronic or mechanical specialization/degree.
- Previous supervisory experience is a strong asset.
Working Conditions:
- 12-hour rotating shift.
- Work is performed in a steel manufacturing mill.
