Grocery Store Team Member

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Grocery Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Grocery Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with the sale of goods.
Key Responsibilities- Zones the department to ensure a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.
- Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise.
- Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and discrepancies.
- Adheres to food safety and handling procedures, as well as sanitation and cleaning procedures, to maintain a clean and safe store environment.
- Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and other related tasks.
- Ensures the department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business.
- Follows Health and Safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Stocks merchandise/picks, downstocks if applicable, and applies product protection when required.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong commitment to customer service, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods of time.
